LUIS ANGEL ROJAS

Argentine professional tango & folklore dancer / teacher / Dj / organizer, started dancing at an early age and has dedicated his professional life to studying and growing as a teacher and dancer, by studying with some of the most important teachers and dancers in Argentina.
Currently based in Ylöjärvi, Finland; from 2020 he teaches regular tango classes, organizes milongas and events in Tampere, other cities and Helsinki, as well as many cities in Europe.
He has toured Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Norway, Sweden, Russia, France and Estonia as a tango DJ, performer and teacher of tango and folklore.

AWARDS:

• He was a Semifinalist of the "Festival and World Tango" 2018, 2021 and 2022. Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• Finalist of the preliminary London and Villa Constitucion 2022 of the Festival and World Tango 2022.
• 1st Place Tango Pista at Official Preliminary Mendoza, Championship of Tango BA 2016, obtaining a direct pass to the semifinals of the 2016 Tango World Cup.
• Winner of the National Folk Contest Atahualpa Yupanqui, in the category "Pareja de Tango" (Rosario).

La T milonga Malmö - 1st March: Premiere of the Year!

WELCOME TO TANGO!

Welcome to a new Tango Year at La T!

We meet on TUESDAYS, with 2 OPEN CLASSES and 2 SETS OF MILONGA.


--- DISCOUNT PACKAGE PRICE combining classes & milonga.
--- CLASSES ON TUESDAYS: attend alone or in couple
--- We follow the recommendations from Folkhälsomyndigheten.

>>>> PLEASE OBSERVE: LA T PRACTICA runs on Wednesday at Sofielunds Folkets hus. Classes before Practica are Solo training (you train alone without partner)

SCHEDULE:

• 17.30 - 18.30 : CLASS: MILONGA & VALS (all levels)
• 18.30 - 19.30 : CLASS: TANGO (all levels)
• 19.30 - 20.45 : MILONGA 1st PART.
• 20.45 - 22.00 : MILONGA 2nd PART.

OBS: Participate in single activities or combine as you wish!

YOUR TIME AT LA T:
---- You do not need to book to participate in classes or milonga.
---- Only symptoms free participants.
---- Coffee, Tea, water and sweets included. Recommended to bring your own coffee cup.
---- Hand sanitizer available at the venue.


FEE:

• 1 CLASS: 70 kr members, 90 kr non-members
• 2 CLASSES: 140 kr members, 180 kr non-member
• 1 CLASS + 1 MILONGA: 110 kr members, 130 kr non-members
• 1 CLASS + 2 MILONGA: 170 kr members, 210 kr non- members
• 2 CLASSES + 1 MILONGA: 170 kr. members, 190 non members
• 2 CLASSES + 2 MILONGA: 200 kr members , 220 kr non members.
• One SET MILONGA : 50 members - 70 non-members
• Both SET MILONGA: 80 members - 100 non members

SUMMER SEASON MEMBERSHIP: 60 kr.
Membership gives you discount to classes/Practica on Wednesday & classes/Milongas on Tuesdays, as well as special raffles and other gifts all along the season.

Lovely Premiere at LA T MILONGA MALMÖ on Tuesday 5 October!

We had a lovely Premiere at La T yesterday! It feels great to be back on Tuesday to our beloved venue.

 💓  THANKS to all tango friends who were there despite the heavy rain. It was very touching to dance at our place again, chatting, laughing and enjoying that tango friendship that we were longing for.

💓 THANKS to those attending both classes before milonga for trusting my teaching and for your positive feedback.

💓 THANKS to those who supported us under this pandemic time and still do it, in all possible ways.

LA T MILONGA continues every TUESDAY with two classes, Milonga-Vals & Tango, for all levels, and milonga afterwards.

If you can not make it on Tuesdays, now we invite you with LA T PRACTICA, on WEDNESDAYS at Sofielunds Folkets hus. A new space  with 2 solo training classes (without partner) and 2 hours practica afterwards.
