Some photos and reflections about TANGO ESSENTIALS WEEK - MALMÖ - 2nd edition, 17 - 21 October 2023 !

We have an AMAZING TANGO ESSENTIALS week 2nd edition at LA T TANGO Malmö - 17/21 October - with guest teacher Andres Tanguito Cejas.

During those days, many dancers from all over Skåne, Halmstad, Stockholm, and even Spain, Iceland, and Argentina met in classes, workshops and milongas.

.... SO MUCH DANCE, MUSIC, JOY, INSPIRATION, LEARNING, EXCHANGING, AND EXTREMELY POSITIVE ENERGY !

>>> THANKS to our guest teacher ANDRES TANGUITO CEJAS , for being part of this adventure, bringing his knowledge, his commitment with the teaching-learning process, and his humble and empathetic way of being.

>>> THANKS to KLUBB BAIRES for creating once more spaces where TANGO MUSIC and TANGO DANCE show that they are more alive than ever.

>>> THANKS Malmö Folk Festival for this time embracing Tango. And Cuarteto Bando, for a fantastic performance at the fantastic Rehab. And Dulcita Alfajores for the tastes.

THANKS for all help, support and feedback before, during and after TANGO ESSENTIALS WEEK II.

Always in the creation, there's a dose of unpredictability... the same dose that spontaneity and improvisation add to tango... 

But what it counts, HEART, ESSENCE and MEANING, are strong.

We keep DANCING WITH LIFE.

... and we are already WALKING THE NEW PATHS to our next meeting.

HAPPY FEMALE TANGO DANCER DAY on 6th September !

 On 6 September we celebrate the Woman Tango dancer´s day, because of the birthday of the greatest female tango dancer in Tango History, Maria Nieves Rego.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARIA! You, at your young 89 years, still teaching and performing, are the greatest source of inspiration for all tango dancers all over the world!

HAPPY DAY TO ALL FEMALE DANCERS, colleagues, teachers, students! And HAPPY DAY TO MAYSELF !

Another fantastic Tango evening with Concert and Milonga at Klubb Baires in Malmö on 2 September!

Such an lovely Tango night on Saturday 2nd September at Klubb Baires !

A fantastic concert with two extraordinary musicians, Juan Esteban Cuacci (piano) and Hedda Heiskanen (violin) plus the mesmerizing voice and charisma of Mariel Martinez, performing a wide repertoire, from the traditional tango and Piazzolla to Juan Esteban´s own compositions.

You three gave us an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!

Afterwards we dance at the milonga with the dearest tango friends. Dj Graciela Loscalzo from Västerås played the nicest music that touched every dancer's soul.

THANKS KLUBB BAIRES for bringing once more to Malmö this quality of artists, and this innovative concept, Tango utan gränser (Tango without borders) where different cultures and nationalities interact and present their own music and style in always fantastic interpretations.

Happy to have the possibility to experience CULTURE at this top level in Malmö!
